On Religion, The Media and Life as a 20-something in Chicago

CARPENTERSVILLE — The Community Unit School District 300 Board of Education has identified the four district employees who will make up the district’s new Teaching and Learning Leadership Team. The naming of that team, approved at the school board’s meeting Monday, is part of the plan Superintendent-elect Michael Bregy announced last month to shift the district’s top priority to core “teaching and learning.” “Our mission and our priority have always been teaching and learning, but over time, any large organization can become fragmented and lose focus,” said Allison Strupeck, District 300 spokeswoman. “We’re trying to make sure our limited resources are strategically aligned with the areas that will strengthen our goals of teaching and learning.” For the rest of the story, visit The Courier-News.
